Description

  • Maintain and grow Managed Medicaid channel relationships with health plans, AAA, CBO, PACE, and state case management agencies.
  • Present Mom’s Meals products and services to managed care organizations, case managers, social workers, physicians, nurses, and dietitians.
  • Use company programs and systems to prioritize Tier account engagement and plan efficient weekly sales routes.
  • Build and coordinate staff meetings, in-service presentations, conferences, and educational opportunities for target audiences.
  • Drive sales forecasts, growth goals, and key initiatives for the territory.
  • Summarize weekly sales activities and maintain accurate CRM records for leads, calls, and follow-ups.
  • Travel regionally each week and nationally as needed for conferences and extended sales routes.
  • Coordinate closely with Internal Client Support Managers on account management metrics and CRM expectations.
  • Lead field-based members and expand referral pathway knowledge to improve program support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 5+ years of healthcare sales experience in managed care, long-term care, home health, home care, hospital, or medical equipment settings.
  • Knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare benefit programs.
  • Experience consulting and presenting to care providers serving high-risk member populations.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Experience with CRM software such as Salesforce or similar sales tools.
  • Background in Medicaid/Medicare and Managed Care organizations.
  • Clinical credentialing in Social Work, Nursing, or Nutrition preferred/required for the role’s consultative nutrition messaging.
  • Familiarity with the regional market and existing contacts in Medicaid service provision.
  • Willingness to travel 50-75% of the time, including day trips, overnight trips, and nationwide travel as needed.
  • Must reside in Illinois or Indiana due to the territory’s travel requirements.
  • Licensed social workers or nursing case managers with customer relationship experience are strongly preferred.
  • Candidates with passion and competency in consultative networking and upselling SDOH benefits may be considered even without credentials.
  • Familiarity with the Health-Related Social Needs 1115 program is preferred.
  • Ability to handle repetitive hand, wrist, and finger motions and sedentary work requirements.
