Description

  • Own and manage the full sales process from first contact through close for commercial, state, and local government accounts.
  • Create demand and build a qualified opportunity pipeline.
  • Deliver product demonstrations using screen share and video conferencing tools.
  • Build strong relationships with prospective customers and current accounts.
  • Qualify opportunities and provide accurate forecasts to management.
  • Navigate sales cycles to identify decision makers, business drivers, and paths to closure.
  • Stay current on new product releases and apply product knowledge to customer needs.
  • Use consultative selling, large account management, and competitive positioning to win deals.
  • Proactively manage multiple deals and focus on those with the highest likelihood of success.
  • Maintain timely and accurate updates in Salesforce and follow company sales procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 7+ years of related experience, including senior sales leadership, high-performance sales team management, solution sales coaching, account development, or leadership in multi-tiered large organizations, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven success selling in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Experience selling enterprise cybersecurity solutions and data or subscription software; digital products and display advertising experience is a plus.
  • Hunter mentality with a strong interest in prospecting and building a pipeline.
  • Coachable and open to feedback from team members and managers.
  • Proven success developing prospecting lists, meeting quota, and retaining customers.
  • Strong communication, organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM and opportunity management systems, preferably Salesforce.com.
  • Ability to travel.
