Description

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executives and employees across the teams you support.
  • Execute global and local people programs including talent management, organizational planning, performance management, development planning, compensation planning, onboarding, and offboarding.
  • Use people data and organizational trends to assess team health and recommend actions to business leaders.
  • Collaborate with People COEs, cross-functional partners, and HR peers to build and deliver people initiatives.
  • Coach and influence managers on team effectiveness, leadership, and talent practices.
  • Own and drive GTM-wide people projects.
  • Support employee relations activities, including regional investigations and terminations.
  • Act as a JAPAC labor law expert and help define and implement global-to-local policies and processes.
  • Maintain compliance across Australia, Japan, and Singapore, including reporting, government filings, workers’ compensation, and audits.
  • Partner with Payroll, Benefits, legal, workplace, and employment counsel teams on regional operations and support queries.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of deep and progressive experience as a strategic HR Business Partner.
  • Experience supporting GTM organizations in SaaS companies in the JAPAC region.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to coach, influence, and partner across all employee levels.
  • Proven collaboration experience across People teams, cross-functional partners, and HRBP peers.
  • Ability to work through change management and improve team and business effectiveness.
  • Comfort working in ambiguity, connecting the dots, and making sound decisions.
  • Bias for action, strong work ethic, and a drive for excellence.
  • Strong comfort with data and using insights to advise business decisions.
  • Strong business acumen and a business-first approach to problem solving.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet challenging deadlines.
  • Fluent English communication skills required; Japanese communication skills preferred.
