Description

  • Serve as an expert on time and attendance matters and support complex projects related to employment law changes and collective bargaining agreement updates.
  • Manage employee lifecycle cases involving family leave, sick leave, time tracking, public holidays, and working time for internal and external employees.
  • Advise clients and employees on employment legislation and interpret labor law and employment agreements in both basic and complex scenarios.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including payroll, legal counsel, and government bodies, to ensure compliance across employee lifecycle activities.
  • Support HR and financial audits to confirm compliance with local employment regulations across multiple countries.
  • Develop, maintain, and update global internal documentation on time and attendance based on legislative changes.
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries on employment matters in collaboration with Lifecycle stakeholders.
  • Identify and contribute to process improvements, automation, product development, and better customer and employee experience.
  • Safely manage employee data and confidential information while following established protocols and maintaining discretion.
  • Promote Remote’s values and support the goals of the Lifecycle team.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing employee lifecycle events with care, sensitivity, and legal compliance.
  • Experience providing HR support and guidance on employment laws and regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Strong communication, influencing, conflict management, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to lead difficult conversations professionally and confidentially to positive outcomes.
  • Advanced written and spoken English at business level; additional languages are a plus.
  • Aptitude for innovating and optimizing processes, including identifying automation opportunities and promoting best practices.
  • Efficiency in operations with strong attention to documentation and data integrity.
  • Comfort collaborating asynchronously with various tools and adapting to new systems.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote, international environment with multiple priorities.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
  • Familiarity with Notion, Slack, Zendesk, and G Suite is preferred.
  • Enthusiasm for AI with a foundational understanding of its practical applications in operations and automation.
