Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Kotlin/Java and Micronaut.
  • Build and integrate RESTful and GraphQL APIs with internal and third-party systems.
  • Implement event-driven solutions using Kafka.
  • Ensure code quality through TDD/BDD and automated testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance using observability tools.
  • Support production systems with a build-it, run-it DevOps mindset.
  • Own services end-to-end and contribute to a high-performing DevOps culture.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with Kotlin and/or Java.
  • Hands-on experience with Micronaut.
  • Solid understanding of microservices architecture.
  • Expert understanding of MVC, SOLID, DRY, and KISS principles.
  • Strong experience with Git and distributed version control.
  • Experience with TDD, BDD, and non-functional testing, including performance, security, and resilience.
  • Experience working in Azure cloud environments.
  • CI/CD pipeline experience and a production support mindset.
  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
  • Experience with Kafka, MongoDB, REST, GraphQL, and observability tools such as Dynatrace or similar.
