Description

  • Collaborate with Product, Design, Frontend, Infrastructure, and Mobile teams to take features from discovery through rollout and beyond.
  • Own features end to end, including technical design, implementation, testing, observability, and deployment.
  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, scalable, and reliable backend services in Ruby and Elixir.
  • Work across a polyglot stack including Ruby, Elixir, GraphQL, TypeScript, gRPC, and Kafka.
  • Contribute to a Kubernetes-based environment and support the transition toward a microservice architecture.
  • Apply Domain-Driven Design principles to build high-quality products from inception to delivery.
  • Coordinate with engineers working on different layers of the infrastructure.
  • Operate autonomously in a fast-paced, changing product environment.

Requirements

  • ~2+ years of experience in product engineering, developer tools, or infrastructure at scale.
  • Deep experience building and interacting with AI agents to amplify engineering output.
  • Experience building and maintaining globally distributed systems.
  • Knowledge of event-driven architectures, including Kafka.
  • Familiarity with languages such as Elixir, Ruby, or TypeScript is a plus.
  • Ability to work within architecture and security standards while fully owning code quality.
  • Pragmatic generalist who is comfortable learning new frameworks and solving complex challenges.
  • Willingness to travel for one week once per quarter for team events in London, Warsaw, or Prishtina.
