Description

  • Build and maintain internal developer productivity tools, including dashboards, metrics, and measurement frameworks for engineering throughput, cycle time, and quality signals.
  • Instrument token usage and model costs across agentic workflows to improve visibility and support cost optimization.
  • Set up availability monitoring and alerting for business systems and internal applications, and create SOPs for incident detection and response.
  • Identify and reduce friction across the Secure SDLC by improving SAST/DAST integration, compliance tooling, and security scanning.
  • Manage, scale, and improve AWS cloud infrastructure for reliable and secure production systems.
  • Build, operate, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code with Terraform for consistent and auditable environments.
  • Evaluate and optimize AI model hosting on AWS Bedrock, including model selection, performance benchmarking, and cost trade-offs.
  • Drive adoption and standardization of AI coding agent tools across engineering teams and assess new tools as the ecosystem evolves.
  • Partner with Security to deploy and operate SAST, DAST, and SIEM solutions.

Requirements

  • Must be currently based in Canada and legally authorized to work in Canada.
  • 5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Cloud Engineering.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Demonstrated experience building internal developer productivity tools and metrics systems such as DORA metrics, cycle time, deployment frequency, or engineering throughput.
  • Strong proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Go, TypeScript, or similar.
  • Practical experience using AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar in your workflow.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services including ECS, EKS, EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, Redis, Control Tower, and IAM.
  • Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD workflows with GitHub Actions.
  • Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or similar tools such as AWS CDK or CloudFormation.
  • Experience managing or evaluating LLM hosting platforms such as AWS Bedrock, including model selection, token cost optimization, and multi-model evaluation frameworks, is preferred.
  • Experience building tooling for agentic or multi-agent AI workflows, including session tracking, cost attribution, and observability, is preferred.
