Description

  • Own and grow persuasion client accounts across digital paid media and television.
  • Serve as the senior strategic lead for client accounts, guiding budget allocation, targeting, creative direction, and media mix.
  • Coordinate with the TV department to align digital and television buys, messaging, and flighting.
  • Embed in client communications and proactively advise on campaign strategy beyond paid media, including communications, budgeting, and overall decision-making.
  • Track revenue and expenses and work with accounting and sales to manage retainers, ad fees, staff costs, and TV commissions.
  • Identify opportunities to expand accounts into TV or additional persuasion products such as CTV, testing, and creative services.
  • Lead or co-lead pitches and business development conversations for new persuasion clients.
  • Develop creative strategy by writing and shaping scripts informed by polling, messaging research, and campaign input.
  • Manage production end to end, including shoots, editing, client feedback, and revisions.
  • Lead planning, execution, analysis, and reporting for digital persuasion campaigns across paid media platforms.

Requirements

  • 3+ years running political or advocacy advertising programs, with more experience preferred.
  • Experience running persuasion-focused digital campaigns.
  • Expertise in Facebook Business Manager, Google, and DSPs such as Trade Desk or DV360.
  • Strong copywriting and strategic communication skills.
  • Comfort managing multiple high-stakes client relationships.
  • Agency or consulting experience.
  • Demonstrated commitment to progressive politics.
  • Experience coordinating with or working alongside television advertising, preferred but not required.
  • Proven success as a senior strategist and/or manager.
  • Ability to independently lead sales pitches and business development conversations, with an existing network considered a plus but not required.
