Description

  • Use phone, email, LinkedIn, and live chat to connect with prospective customers and respond to inbound interest.
  • Qualify inbound marketing leads, drive follow-up activity, and book meetings that create sales opportunities.
  • Conduct outbound prospecting campaigns to generate new opportunities and grow the sales pipeline.
  • Manage and maintain prospect data and contact information in Salesforce CRM.
  • Collaborate with sales executives, solution architects, and account teams to qualify prospects and schedule demonstrations.
  • Work with Marketing to execute demand generation campaigns and support attendance at company events and trade shows.
  • Learn and communicate Megaport’s value proposition and how its solutions address customer pain points.
  • Maintain an active pipeline of interested prospects and track next steps through the sales process.
  • Develop sales capability through ongoing training, self-study, and 1:1 coaching.
  • Support regional revenue goals as an individual contributor in a compensation-carrying role.

Requirements

  • Experience or strong interest in working in a high-growth sales environment.
  • Action-oriented, highly organized, resourceful, results-oriented, and adaptable.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage a high-volume workload.
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and the ability to solve problems with limited direction.
  • Goal-oriented and customer-focused mindset.
  • Ability to handle fast-paced change, learn quickly, and adapt to new processes.
  • Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Self-discipline and focus to consistently meet weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals.
  • Ability to build meaningful business relationships with customers, prospects, and internal teammates.
  • Experience using sales and lead generation tools such as Salesforce, Gong, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Nooks, and ZoomInfo is preferred.
