Description

  • Own the field sales pipeline and lead a team against new-logo and account-expansion targets.
  • Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop sales team members through performance management and training.
  • Set territory coverage models, quotas, compensation structures, and sales performance frameworks with the Chief Growth Officer.
  • Personally manage and close strategic hyperscale and enterprise accounts.
  • Identify and pursue growth opportunities across new markets, partnerships, service lines, and upsell or cross-sell initiatives.
  • Own the account lifecycle from acquisition and onboarding through relationship management, renewal, and expansion.
  • Lead strategic pursuit planning and coordinate sales, marketing, operations, and technical resources.
  • Build executive-level relationships with clients, developers, contractors, architects, and industry partners.
  • Maintain Salesforce data, conduct pipeline reviews, and monitor KPIs, win rates, forecasts, and revenue attainment.
  • Coordinate with delivery teams to transition awarded work smoothly from sales to execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience running field sales organizations, including direct B2B sales experience in the AEC market.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience with responsibility for teams, budgets, and strategic operations.
  • Demonstrated success as a player-coach sales leader managing an individual pipeline while leading a team to revenue targets.
  • Established AEC industry network and relationships capable of generating opportunities, partnerships, and long-term client accounts.
  • Experience managing the full account lifecycle, from new-logo acquisition through expansion and retention.
  • Experience selling technical or professional services through long-cycle, relationship-driven buying processes.
  • Proven success building and scaling go-to-market teams and driving revenue growth and client retention.
  • Strong business acumen, communication, coaching, negotiation, relationship-building, and strategic planning skills.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and sales analytics tools; ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Existing relationships with architects, general contractors, hyperscale companies, or data center owners and developers preferred.
  • Experience selling commissioning, design-build, or design-assist services preferred.
  • Experience with account-based marketing, channel sales, partnership development, service contracting, or RFP processes preferred.
