Description

  • Lead hands-on architecture work across client engagements, owning solution design and delivery oversight.
  • Support strategic technology decisions, shape architectural direction, and define key processes across client projects.
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to executive stakeholders, leading architecture reviews, roadmap planning, and strategic technology discussions.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to design new systems from scratch, modernize existing platforms, and direct cloud migration efforts.
  • Participate early in projects (discovery/presales) to translate business requirements into technical blueprints and proposals.
  • Define system architecture and cloud infrastructure choices that balance performance, scalability, availability, security, and cost efficiency.
  • Document architectural decisions clearly using diagrams, ADRs, and supporting materials to ensure maintainability and long-term alignment.
  • Drive hands-on work for proofs-of-concept and foundational infrastructure development, and provide input on timelines and cost estimations for planning.
  • Lead internal knowledge sharing, mentor engineering teams, and introduce forward-thinking practices, including exploration of emerging technologies like GenAI.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience with cloud architecture experience (AWS preferred).
  • 2+ years designing and implementing cloud solutions with hands-on knowledge of core cloud services, security, and IaC tools (e.g., Terraform).
  • Strong coding ability in at least one modern language (Python or Node.js preferred) and willingness/ability to step in hands-on for PoCs and urgent tasks.
  • Practical understanding of system design, distributed architecture, DevOps practices (CI/CD, observability), containerization, and serverless patterns.
  • Experience transforming monolithic systems to cloud-native architectures using containers, APIs, and serverless approaches.
  • Experience working directly with external clients, including engagement with senior/C-level stakeholders.
  • Fluent communication in English and Polish (C1 level) and strong stakeholder management and presentation skills.
  • Experience with architectural assessments and ensuring alignment with cost, performance, availability, and security goals.
  • Experience with Big Data or AI/ML technologies (data pipelines, model serving, GenAI) is a strong plus.
  • Curiosity about new technologies and passion for evaluating and applying innovations like Generative AI or platform engineering.
