Description

  • Serve as the first point of contact for service users via helpline and online chat.
  • Provide brief, goal-focused therapeutic support and psychoeducation to service users in the moment.
  • Complete brief clinical and therapeutic assessments to determine service user needs.
  • Conduct robust risk and safeguarding assessments and implement risk management plans quickly when needed.
  • Identify and refer service users to appropriate support, including contracted therapy sessions, local services, charities, or healthcare providers.
  • Deliver video-based therapy sessions and ongoing case management for assigned cases.
  • Accurately document clinical information in the clinical database.
  • Adhere to clinical and operational protocols, standards, service levels, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with global clinical teams and affiliate clinicians on case updates.
  • Contribute to service development, business development, governance, and quality assurance activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s level counselling qualification appropriate to professional standards in the United Kingdom and/or the Republic of Ireland.
  • Current registration or accreditation with the relevant professional body.
  • BACP registration or equivalent counselling accreditation.
  • Minimum of 2 years of working experience.
  • Minimum of 400 hours of therapeutic delivery post-qualification.
  • Experience working with a broad range of psychological and workplace-related issues, including mental health, trauma, stress, relationship issues, child-related issues, anxiety, and substance-related issues.
  • Experience working in high-pressure, time-limited environments.
  • Experience managing high-risk cases such as suicide, abuse, and substance use.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment and support service development.
  • Desirable: current or previous experience with an EAP provider in the UK or Republic of Ireland; intake clinician experience using telephonic, live chat, and email counselling; experience working in a time-limited framework.
