Description

  • Build and grow a pipeline of customers across the German government and commercial sectors.
  • Cultivate long-term relationships with stakeholders across agencies, primes, and commercial space companies.
  • Identify, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships that support Loft’s space infrastructure-as-a-service offerings.
  • Collaborate with the EMEA Business Development team to localize Loft’s go-to-market strategy for Germany.
  • Work with technical and product teams to ensure customer requirements inform platform development and product roadmap decisions.
  • Attend and speak at German and European space industry events to strengthen Loft’s brand presence in-country.
  • Drive customer acquisition efforts across the German space and defense ecosystem.
  • Support RFP responses and other complex procurement processes as needed.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in sales, business development, or strategic partnerships in commercial space, aerospace, or defense.
  • Demonstrated success winning new business across the German space and defense landscape.
  • Experience with customer procurement cycles and key players in the German market.
  • Experience selling complex technical solutions, ideally for space, aerospace, or defense applications.
  • Understanding of the operating practices of the European Space Agency (ESA) and the European Commission (EC).
  • Experience leading and/or contributing to RFP responses.
  • Fluency in German and English, both spoken and written, is required.
  • Effective professional communication skills.
  • Passion for the space industry and interest in a fast-paced, mission-driven team.
  • Fluency in French and/or additional European languages is a plus.
  • Experience winning proposals for spacecraft development programs is a plus.
