Description

  • Identify patterns and trends that improve Brokerage business performance.
  • Analyze key metrics to evaluate business practices and the performance of roles within Brokerage.
  • Lead analytics efforts across key segments of the Brokerage business.
  • Prioritize and consolidate reports to surface the most impactful insights.
  • Partner with business units connected to Brokerage, including Leadership, Sales, Account Management, Carrier Sales, Product, Engineering, and Data Platform.
  • Interpret leadership needs and turn them into effective reporting and actionable insights.
  • Support the organization’s growth by guiding decision-making through data-driven storytelling.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in a business data or analytics function.
  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken, with comfort interacting with native English speakers daily.
  • Experience in Freight Brokerage or Logistics industries is highly preferable.
  • Advanced spreadsheet skills in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Working knowledge of SQL query language.
  • Basic coding knowledge in R or preferably Python for automating data analysis tasks is a plus.
  • Knowledge of data visualization and storytelling, with experience using analytics tools, preferably PowerBI.
  • Strong understanding of basic descriptive statistics; predictive and prescriptive statistics mastery is ideal.
