Description

  • Serve as the analytical backbone for a portfolio of key grocery retail partners.
  • Translate ambiguous business questions into clear answers and actionable strategies.
  • Build a trusted analytical foundation so insights are proactively used by Business Development and retail partners.
  • Perform deep-dive analyses to identify root causes behind performance changes and opportunities.
  • Partner with Business Development to create business cases and quarterly business reviews.
  • Develop or improve internal tools, frameworks, and narratives that help stakeholders move from data to direction.
  • Act as the subject matter expert on category and partner landscape trends.
  • Interpret macro business, operational, and customer trends across assigned retailers.
  • Communicate insights in a way that supports decision-making and commercial impact.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a quantitative business strategy role, such as consulting, banking, analytics, or similar.
  • Proficiency with SQL, including writing complex and efficient queries.
  • Proficiency with Excel and data visualization tools.
  • Strong analytical reasoning with the ability to work through ambiguous problems step by step.
  • Polished communication skills and experience managing senior stakeholder relationships, both internal and external.
  • Self-starter mindset with the ability to identify, frame, and drive problems to resolution independently.
  • Experience in retail, e-commerce, or grocery is preferred.
  • Familiarity with online marketplaces or CPG categories is a meaningful advantage.
  • Experience building business cases or presenting to external partners or clients is preferred.
