Description

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 8 Account Managers.
  • Drive revenue, market share, and profitability growth across the territory.
  • Develop and execute district and territory sales plans.
  • Support prospecting, customer engagement, quoting, and closing activities.
  • Monitor team performance and implement improvement plans when needed.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier and customer relationships.
  • Partner with internal teams on inventory and strategic initiatives.
  • Review forecasts, sales reports, and performance metrics.
  • Oversee day-to-day sales activities across the assigned region.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Sales, or a related field is preferred.
  • 5+ years of distribution sales experience in industrial components.
  • Experience selling components and services within Fluid Process markets is highly preferred.
  • 3+ years of supervisory or management experience leading an outside sales team.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, develop, and manage a sales team to profitable growth.
  • Ability to drive productivity improvement and help account managers achieve higher sales levels.
  • P&L familiarity, including the ability to work with budgets, forecasts, and sales reports.
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills with strategic thinking ability.
  • Computer proficiency with MS Office and the ability to learn and use a CRM system.
  • Valid driver’s license is required.
  • Ability to travel overnight and approximately 50% of the time.
