Description

  • Define the go-to-market strategy, business plan, and sales strategy for the DACH region.
  • Build, own, and implement revenue plans to exceed sales targets.
  • Lead and develop a team of Emerging Enterprise Account Executives.
  • Communicate the Databricks value proposition and connect it to customer goals.
  • Manage account executives across territories and ensure adherence to sales processes and quota attainment.
  • Drive forecasting accuracy, pipeline development, activity tracking, and overall sales productivity.
  • Support strategically important accounts and provide frontline leadership to the sales team.
  • Align with leadership on quota setting and territory design.
  • Hire, coach, and develop talent to raise performance standards.
  • Build long-term, trust-based relationships with employees, partners, and cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Strong first-line management experience.
  • Strong sales experience in Data and AI or broader technology sales.
  • In-depth knowledge of how software is positioned and sold to IT and/or Data executives.
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to articulate and evangelize the value of Databricks solutions.
  • Passion for coaching and developing talent.
  • Extensive knowledge of sales methodologies such as MEDDICC, CoM, and Challenger.
  • Experience launching initiatives that create impact at scale.
  • Exposure to the Startup, Emerging Enterprise, and/or Digital Native space is preferred.
  • Business fluency in English and German.
