Description

  • Plan, design, execute, and monitor test scenarios and activities.
  • Collaborate with product managers, analysts, and developers in a cross-functional Agile team.
  • Perform API and integration testing across microservices.
  • Conduct performance and load testing, including analysis of system behavior.
  • Develop test automation and maintain existing automated test builds.
  • Perform regression testing.
  • Prepare testing reports and maintain quality documentation.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience as a QA Engineer with a backend focus.
  • Strong experience testing end-to-end data flows across services, databases, and message brokers.
  • Proficiency with Java or TypeScript automation tools and CI pipeline integration.
  • Experience with performance testing, including load profiles and latency, throughput, and error-rate analysis.
  • Knowledge of test design techniques and testing methodologies.
  • Strong SQL skills, including joins, aggregations, and data integrity checks.
  • Linux/UNIX command-line experience, including log analysis and basic Bash.
  • Practical Git experience with branching, merging, and code reviews.
  • Experience with MockServer or similar dependency-isolation tools.
  • Knowledge of TCP, HTTP, client-server, and microservices architectures.
  • Experience with Postman, IntelliJ IDEA, Jira, Confluence, Zephyr, GitLab, Jenkins, Kibana, and Grafana.
  • Higher technical education or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced Agile environment.
  • Intermediate-level or higher written and spoken English.
  • Telecom, Kafka/RabbitMQ, Docker/Kubernetes, or high-load systems experience is preferred.
