Description

  • Field inbound demo requests, trials, free accounts, and product inquiries via phone, email, and other channels.
  • Run consultative demos for smaller opportunities with a focus on one-call closes when possible.
  • Conduct business discovery to understand customer goals, urgency, and fit.
  • Qualify prospects in or out efficiently and prioritize where to spend time.
  • Own a high-velocity pipeline and manage it with strong prioritization and time management.
  • Advise customers on ecommerce best practices and effective use of Klaviyo’s platform.
  • Provide demonstrations of the platform and recommend best next steps or resources to encourage purchase or activation.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Business Development, Product, Customer Success, and marketing/sales leadership to improve the customer experience.
  • Create and maintain a structured feedback loop on product, web, onboarding, and other key customer touchpoints.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Previous academic, work, or internship experience with transferable skills such as sales, customer service, support, retail, or hospitality.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent.
  • Experience or ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Strong time management, prioritization, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • CRM proficiency, such as Salesforce or a similar system, is a plus.
  • 6+ months of business development experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Substantive knowledge of ecommerce, SMS, and email marketing is expected.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $23.08 to $34.62 USD per hour for U.S. locations.
  • Eligibility for the company’s annual cash bonus plan.
  • Variable compensation (OTE) for sales and customer success roles, where applicable.
  • Equity and sign-on payments may be included in total compensation.
  • Comprehensive health, welfare, and wellbeing benefits, subject to eligibility.
  • Up to 10% travel for onboarding, client or partner work, team meetings, and industry events, coordinated in advance.
