Description

  • Actively source new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, social media, and in-person meetings.
  • Conduct discovery conversations with educators and decision-makers to understand challenges, requirements, and goals.
  • Present Kiddom’s products and services in virtual and in-person meetings, explaining value and fit for specific educational needs.
  • Negotiate and close deals while ensuring a smooth handoff from prospect to customer.
  • Serve as a trusted consultant to educators and administrators by sharing insights on educational trends and learning outcomes.
  • Manage and grow a California sales territory focused on district adoption of core math, science, and ELA materials.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients interested in Kiddom’s educational solutions.
  • Visit prospects and customers in person an average of 2-3 days per week.
  • Travel within the California region for meetings and events as needed.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of proven sales success, particularly in K-12 education and curriculum.
  • Experience managing a $2M annual sales quota and exceeding targets.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and Salesloft.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to build lasting relationships.
  • Knowledge of the education sector and the challenges faced by educators and institutions.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% within the California region.
  • Ability to work in a remote role based in Los Angeles, CA.
