Description

  • Navigate complex B2B software sales with multiple stakeholders in school districts.
  • Manage the full sales process from discovery calls and demos through objection handling, contracting, and closing.
  • Talk with Professional Learning, Human Resources, Teaching & Learning, and Technology leaders about educator growth needs.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of district opportunities and move deals through the sales cycle.
  • Use value propositions and needs analysis to position KickUp effectively for prospects.
  • Attend conferences and regional events to network with school district leaders and grow the book of business.
  • Collaborate with marketing on region-, product-, or persona-specific campaigns.
  • Track close rates, pipeline patterns, and projections to support forecasting and pipeline management.
  • Share techniques, best practices, and customer insights with the sales and product teams.
  • Cultivate long-standing relationships with districts and meet individual and team sales goals.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of sales experience, including at least 1 year in the K-12 EdTech sector.
  • Experience navigating complex B2B software sales with multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to handle discovery, demos, objections, contracting, and closing as part of a full sales cycle.
  • Comfort working remotely full-time within the southwest US territory.
  • Willingness to travel for conferences, in-person events, and regional meetings.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and a persistent, meticulous follow-through style.
  • Ability to work with ambiguity and demonstrate ownership of personal and company performance.
  • Team-oriented mindset and ability to collaborate across diverse backgrounds.
  • Experience with HubSpot CRM and sales forecasting is preferred.

  • Base compensation of $80,000 to $115,000.
  • On-target earnings of $115,000 to $170,000 with no commission cap.
