Description

  • Navigate complex B2B software sales involving multiple stakeholders and non-user decision-makers.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from discovery and demos through objection handling, contracting, and closing.
  • Build relationships with school district leaders across Professional Learning, Human Resources, Teaching & Learning, and Technology functions.
  • Join and run sales calls, move deals through the pipeline, and maintain active pipeline development.
  • Attend conferences and in-person events to network with district leaders and grow the book of business.
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop and refine region-, product-, and persona-specific campaigns.
  • Track close rates, forecast pipeline performance, and manage sales projections using HubSpot.
  • Share insights, techniques, and best practices with the sales team and product team.
  • Cultivate long-term relationships with districts in your territory and support revenue growth over time.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience, including at least 1 year in the K-12 EdTech sector.
  • Experience handling the full sales process in a complex B2B software environment.
  • Ability to work remotely full-time within the Midwest US territory.
  • Willingness to travel for conferences, in-person events, and regional meetings.
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and a persistent, meticulous follow-through style.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a demonstrated sense of ownership.
  • Team-oriented mindset and ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Experience using HubSpot CRM is preferred.
  • Background in educator growth, professional learning, or related education-focused sales is a plus.

  • Base salary of $80,000 to $115,000.
  • On-target earnings of $115,000 to $170,000 with uncapped commissions.
