Description

  • Drive contract negotiations and finalize pricing and terms that protect margins and profitability.
  • Identify and pursue new revenue opportunities through outreach, relationship-building, trade shows, and sector events.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and client feedback to inform product positioning and sales strategy.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients and accounts.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reports for senior stakeholders.
  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through deal closure and ongoing account management.
  • Mentor, motivate, and manage the sales team to foster high performance and accountability.
  • Collaborate with operations, production, and customer service to ensure a consistent client experience.
  • Design and implement sales strategies to grow revenue and strengthen market presence across the manufacturing and production sector.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of hands-on sales experience.
  • Experience selling in manufacturing, industrial, or production environments.
  • A consistent track record of meeting and exceeding B2B sales targets.
  • Confident negotiation skills with strong communication and presentation abilities.
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing operations, supply chain dynamics, and production timelines.
  • Comfortable using CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to client sites and industry events as needed, up to 50%.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Established network of industry contacts within manufacturing or production (preferred).
  • Experience managing national or multi-territory account portfolios (preferred).
  • Background in selling capital equipment, custom fabrication, or industrial components (preferred).
  • Exposure to lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma environments (preferred).
