Description

  • Own nationwide warehousing, freight, inventory, fulfillment, and 3PL operations, including specialized heavy, oversized, and hazmat cargo.
  • Establish company KPIs, dashboards, operating cadence, reviews, and accountability processes.
  • Assess and restructure the team, placing the right people in appropriate roles.
  • Build sales and business development infrastructure, including pipeline management, forecasting, CRM, deal desk, and pricing discipline.
  • Lead strategy and implementation for WMS, TMS, CRM, ERP, and operational reporting systems.
  • Build scalable compliance processes for DOT hazmat requirements and oversized-load permitting.
  • Oversee commercial contracts and deal-review processes.
  • Coach operations leaders, manage offshore support partners, and advise the CEO, Board, and executive peers.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in operations, supply chain, or general management, including 8+ years in a senior executive role.
  • Demonstrated experience building operating systems, KPIs, planning processes, cadence, and accountability structures from the ground up.
  • Hands-on logistics or distribution experience with heavy industrial or renewable energy products such as transformers, batteries, trackers, or modules.
  • Experience leading WMS, TMS, ERP, and CRM implementations from selection through go-live.
  • Experience managing multi-site operations or a large contracted 3PL network.
  • Ability to partner effectively with CEOs, Boards, and President-level executives without owning a P&L.
  • Hands-on experience scaling founder-led or growth-stage businesses.
  • Preferred: solar, storage, or renewable energy distribution experience; NetSuite expertise; PE-backed or founder-led company experience; EOS or Traction familiarity.
