Description

  • Lead daily datacenter operations across hardware, networking, compute, and supporting infrastructure.
  • Ensure infrastructure reliability, scalability, security, compliance, business continuity, and disaster recovery.
  • Lead the transition from traditional infrastructure operations to AWS-native cloud application engineering.
  • Manage AWS PaaS services supporting NetDocuments SaaS applications.
  • Establish observability, monitoring, logging, incident response, automation, and reliability practices.
  • Partner with engineering, architecture, product, and cloud teams on roadmaps, operations, and technical priorities.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop engineers through changes in technical responsibilities and operating models.
  • Build certification, training, and development programs that expand the team’s cloud engineering capabilities.
  • Support strategic planning, budgeting, capacity planning, and infrastructure investment decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 12+ years of experience in cloud or infrastructure engineering and operations, preferably in a SaaS environment.
  • 6+ years of people leadership experience, including leading teams through significant organizational or technical change.
  • Experience operating physical datacenter environments, including hardware lifecycle, facilities, networking, and compute infrastructure.
  • Working knowledge of AWS PaaS services such as ECS/Fargate, DocumentDB, MSK, Valkey, and SES.
  • Experience working across traditional infrastructure and public cloud environments.
  • Experience implementing automation and DevOps practices in production operations.
  • Project and change management experience within a multinational organization.
  • Experience with strategic planning, budgeting, and financial management.
  • Familiarity with SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001; experience with cloud transformation, observability, incident response, or regulated enterprise SaaS is preferred.
