Description

  • Own and lead the design of scalable, resilient, and maintainable system architectures.
  • Define architectural standards, engineering best practices, and overall technology direction.
  • Drive architectural reviews and make high-impact technical decisions.
  • Actively contribute to the codebase in Java, including Spring Boot and microservices.
  • Design and implement high-performance, fault-tolerant distributed systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex production and scalability issues.
  • Architect and build cloud-native solutions on AWS using services such as ECS, EC2, SQS, DynamoDB, and RDS.
  • Design scalable database solutions with a focus on MySQL and PostgreSQL performance and optimization.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers across the team.
  • Lead technical planning, estimation, execution, and cross-functional solution design with Product and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in Java development, including Spring, Hibernate, and J2EE.
  • Proven experience leading system architecture in distributed or microservices environments.
  • Strong expertise in AWS-based cloud-native application development.
  • Deep understanding of relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL, including scaling strategies.
  • Strong experience with microservices architecture, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Demonstrated experience leading engineers or technical initiatives.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to operate at both strategic and implementation levels.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience operating large-scale, production-grade distributed systems is preferred.
  • Strong background in observability and performance optimization is preferred.
  • Experience driving architectural transformations or modernization initiatives is preferred.
