Description

  • Develop solutions that improve efficiency across systems while minimizing technical debt.
  • Use AI agents and GitHub Copilot to implement .NET solutions from high-level specs.
  • Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and stakeholders to refine specs and meet product objectives.
  • Manage the intent of AI-generated code to ensure functional, security, and performance requirements are met.
  • Maintain a test-first approach and help generate production-ready code and automated tests.
  • Stay current on technology trends and product roadmaps to guide development decisions.
  • Contribute to cross-functional business processes and promote process continuity.
  • Mentor less experienced engineers and foster a collaborative team culture.
  • Recommend best practices for AI-native workflows, code maintainability, security, and performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a computer-related subject area or related business field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in Information Technology and solution delivery.
  • Proficiency in Spec-Driven Development (SDD) and AI-native coding in VS Code.
  • Expertise in GitHub Copilot Agent Mode and AI-driven debugging.
  • Strong experience with .NET 6+ and C#.
  • Experience with SQL, Git, unit testing, RESTful web services, messaging and queuing, and a front-end framework such as React.
  • Preferred experience with MySQL, Postgres, and Kubernetes.
  • Solid understanding of the .NET stack and the entire SDLC.
  • Ability to work within a spec-led development framework.
