Description

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a dedicated portfolio of strategic and referral partners.
  • Own the full partner lifecycle, including onboarding, activation, ramp-up, and ongoing retention.
  • Establish consistent engagement routines and proactive touchpoints to drive partner loyalty and production.
  • Resolve partner issues quickly and maintain account health by flagging at-risk relationships early.
  • Continuously audit and improve workflows, tools, and communication cadences across the partner channel.
  • Identify friction points in the referral submission and funding pipeline and work cross-functionally to remove them.
  • Design and refine partner enablement programs, including training materials, product guides, co-marketing resources, and incentives.
  • Use Salesforce data to surface insights on partner behavior and program performance and translate them into operational improvements.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of referral and affiliate programs and ensure partners understand program mechanics, expectations, and incentives.
  • Track and report partner KPIs, deliver performance updates to leadership, and maintain accurate partner records in Salesforce.

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of experience in account management, partner/channel management, or business development.
  • Strong understanding of referral program mechanics and how to optimize partner engagement.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a large portfolio of accounts with strong organization and follow-through.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across partners of varying sizes and sophistication levels.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to pull and interpret CRM and performance data.
  • Self-starter who thrives in an individual contributor role with autonomy.
  • Background in financial services, fintech, alternative lending, or banking preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with referral or affiliate programs in small business lending is a significant differentiator.
  • Familiarity with affiliate or partner management platforms such as Impact.com or similar.
  • Working knowledge of small business lending products such as term loans, lines of credit, and revenue-based financing.
  • Experience with Salesforce or a comparable CRM.
  • Consideration for qualified remote candidates in states where Kapitus or a subsidiary has a physical presence.
