Description

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain software for internal customers.
  • Define architecture, technical patterns, and engineering practices for a new platform.
  • Develop Python backend services, primarily using Flask.
  • Build and integrate AWS solutions using Lambda, Cognito, SNS, SQS, and DynamoDB.
  • Maintain deployment pipelines and CI/CD processes.
  • Build and maintain infrastructure with OpenTofu and Terraform.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, and technical leadership in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Partner with technical leaders on scalable engineering decisions and development practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and establish team-wide engineering standards.
  • Mentor junior developers on Python and engineering practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience.
  • 5+ years of Python experience; Flask experience preferred.
  • Experience with AWS, particularly Lambda, Cognito, SNS, SQS, and DynamoDB.
  • 2+ years of Salesforce experience.
  • 3+ years of experience building or maintaining deployment pipelines and CI/CD processes.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as OpenTofu and Terraform.
  • Experience developing clean, readable, documented code using modern practices.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and delivering from prioritized roadmaps or backlogs.
  • Strong understanding of software development, testing, code quality, maintainability, and technical documentation.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Growth mindset, organizational skills, and interest in progressing toward technical leadership.
  • Mentorship experience or willingness to support junior team members.
  • Financial services or lending industry experience is a strong plus.
  • AWS certification is preferred.

  • Base salary range of $96,300–$154,400.
  • Annual incentive compensation eligibility of up to 10%.
