Description

  • Gather reporting requirements from business stakeholders.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimise SQL queries, stored procedures, and datasets.
  • Build interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI.
  • Analyse business performance and provide actionable insights.
  • Produce recurring and ad-hoc reports.
  • Monitor KPIs across Sales, Finance, Customer Success, Marketing, and Operations.
  • Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance.
  • Investigate discrepancies and run root-cause analysis.
  • Document reporting logic, business definitions, and data sources.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineers to improve reporting processes.
  • Support month-end reporting and business reviews.
  • Use AI tools to accelerate analysis, automate repetitive tasks, generate SQL, and troubleshoot.
  • Explore AI capabilities to enhance analytics and processes.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on SQL, including joins, CTEs, window functions, aggregations, and subqueries.
  • Experience with Power BI or a similar BI tool.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong understanding of relational databases and data structures.
  • Experience working within a SaaS business.
  • Experience using HubSpot for reporting and analysis.
  • Proficiency with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, or similar.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Ability to gather requirements and manage multiple priorities.
  • Ownership mindset with minimal supervision.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, or a related field.
  • Relevant Microsoft or Power BI certifications are desirable.
  • Experience with SaaS metrics such as ARR, MRR, NRR, GRR, churn, expansion, and contraction (preferred).
  • NetSuite reporting experience (preferred).
  • Python for analysis and automation (preferred).
  • Experience with Azure, Microsoft Fabric, or Snowflake (preferred).
  • Experience with ETL and data warehousing (preferred).
  • Experience with Salesforce, Dynamics 365, or Xero (preferred).
