Description

  • Build and manage a pipeline of strategic partnerships, vertical sales opportunities, and new commercial programs.
  • Personally prospect, make outreach, and move opportunities from initial idea to pilot to revenue.
  • Develop creative ways to reach new customer segments such as associations, procurement groups, schools, enterprise buyers, and nonprofits.
  • Lead and improve the outbound sales function by setting KPIs, scripts, and accountability.
  • Assess the current sales team and recommend changes to structure, process, and incentives.
  • Own and expand in-progress partnership deals and negotiate terms with external partners and internal leaders.
  • Identify and test niche market campaigns and repeatable sales plays for high-potential verticals.
  • Partner with Ecommerce, Technology, Operations, Finance, and CX to ensure new programs are feasible and profitable.
  • Own pipeline and revenue reporting, including dashboards and regular updates to the CEO.
  • Track outreach, meetings, pilots, and revenue results, then refine the approach based on performance.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to create revenue from scratch through outbound sales, business development, partnerships, or new-market development.
  • Willingness to personally prospect and lead outreach.
  • Ability to manage, reset, or upgrade a sales team.
  • Strong commercial judgment around revenue, margin, timing, and effort.
  • Entrepreneurial urgency and comfort working without a perfect playbook.
  • Experience in print-on-demand, office products, ecommerce, shipping/logistics, promotional products, or B2B ecommerce (strong plus).
  • Familiarity with ecommerce metrics such as CAC, LTV, AOV, and contribution margin (strong plus).
  • Existing relevant relationships in adjacent markets or channel/procurement spaces (strong plus).
  • Ability to work comfortably with senior executives, procurement contacts, and cross-functional teams.
  • Fluency in ecommerce fundamentals such as partnerships, sales channels, landing pages, customer experience, and repeat purchase.
