Description

  • Serve as an implementation expert for large, complex district deployments of IXL.
  • Partner with district leaders to create and execute professional development plans aligned to district goals and initiatives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with district leaders, principals, and teachers to support consistent implementation.
  • Travel within Hampton Roads, Virginia to provide hands-on implementation support, classroom visits, and in-person meetings.
  • Deliver live and virtual professional development sessions to increase engagement and usage of IXL.
  • Monitor district progress through regular meetings with school and district leaders.
  • Analyze data and use findings to guide decisions and next steps.
  • Partner with the Sales team to manage and grow customer relationships, including pilot districts and pre-sales opportunities.
  • Share field insights with internal teams to help shape products and services.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree.
  • Experience as a K-12 educator.
  • 5+ years of experience delivering professional development in K-12 settings.
  • Experience as a school or district administrator, or extensive experience delivering PD to school or district administrators.
  • Experience leading a district or school instructional initiative or curriculum adoption.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to interpret data and develop effective plans.
  • Exceptional presentation skills and comfort presenting to teachers and administrators.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative, upbeat communication style.
  • Highly organized, methodical, and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Self-starter with a passion for improving education through technology.
  • Willingness to travel 40% to 60% locally within Hampton Roads, Virginia, with occasional overnight travel.
  • Must live in Hampton Roads, Virginia for this full-time remote position.
