Description

  • Lead and mentor a team of carrier relations specialists across Latin America.
  • Partner with Sales and Product teams to analyze demand and develop country-specific supply strategies.
  • Build strategic relationships with regional and local carriers and negotiate cost-effective, reliable services.
  • Monitor telecommunications regulations and adapt supply strategies to maintain compliance across LATAM markets.
  • Define and track KPIs for supplier performance, route quality, and cost efficiency.
  • Resolve carrier and supplier escalations to minimize disruption and maintain service reliability.
  • Align infrastructure and supply capabilities with regional business and revenue objectives.
  • Collaborate with Commercial Legal, Regulatory, Sales, Product, and other cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in the telecommunications services industry, including at least 5 years leading carrier relations teams.
  • Deep expertise in LATAM telecommunications markets, carrier ecosystems, and regulatory environments.
  • Experience aligning infrastructure or supply strategy with Sales and go-to-market demand.
  • Strong negotiation, influence, and communication skills across complex, multi-country environments.
  • Data-driven and analytical approach to decision-making and route optimization.
  • Fluency in Spanish, English, and Portuguese.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Business Administration, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
  • Familiarity with SS7, ISUP, MAP, SIP, or similar communications protocols preferred.
  • Ability to work remotely from Colombia or Brazil and travel approximately 30%.
