Description

  • Introduce the new math core curriculum program to new and existing customers.
  • Partner with K-12 field sales management and sales representatives to strategize, present, and execute regional curriculum sales efforts.
  • Build strong relationships with internal sales teams and external education customers.
  • Develop a strong understanding of customer needs and values to provide personalized support throughout the sales and adoption cycle.
  • Leverage market and product knowledge to increase sales.
  • Deliver effective presentations to administrators, teachers, and other educators.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of all IXL products.
  • Stay current on changing market trends.
  • Partner with sales representatives to prospect district and state departments.
  • Prepare for state and local adoptions.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree.
  • 3+ years of prior EdTech sales experience.
  • Prior experience selling K-12 core curriculum.
  • 5+ years of teaching and/or school administrative experience.
  • Background in math, with teaching and sales experience preferred.
  • Prior core curriculum adoption experience.
  • Exceptional presentation skills and strong one-on-one conversational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfort with educational technology and a tech-savvy mindset.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects concurrently from start to finish.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to travel up to 85% of the time.
  • Must live no more than 45 minutes from a major airport.
  • Remote position for candidates located in the New York, NY metro area.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $80,000 to $105,000.
