Description

  • Partner with a Territory Business Leader to develop territory plans and strategies that meet or exceed goals.
  • Execute clinical selling strategies within assigned accounts.
  • Assess referrals to confirm product use criteria are met for people with diabetes.
  • Provide product education and training for users of Sequel products.
  • Drive healthcare provider adoption and confidence through clinical education, product demonstrations, and training certification.
  • Facilitate virtual product training and educational webinars.
  • Share user feedback cross-functionally to help solve problems and improve product development.
  • Collaborate with customer care and sales support to optimize the user experience.
  • Manage leads, opportunities, and product training documentation in the CRM system daily.
  • Build relationships with patient advocacy groups and professional diabetes organizations.
  • For the Senior CDS role, assist with field sales and clinical training, mentor junior staff, participate in advisory boards, and lead team calls or meetings as needed.

Requirements

  • Valid professional license in one of the following fields: RN, RD, PA, NP, or Pharmacist.
  • Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) preferred; required for the Senior CDS role.
  • 2+ years of experience coordinating and conducting diabetes education, with strong experience in the technical use of diabetes technology preferred.
  • 4+ years of clinical diabetes education experience required for the Senior CDS role.
  • Experience coordinating and conducting diabetes device education in the medical device industry preferred.
  • Candidate must live within the assigned geography.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, including the ability to answer patient and provider questions in real time.
  • Strong data analysis, evaluation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of diabetes products and therapies.
  • Valid driver’s license required, with the ability to travel by car, carry samples and literature, and spend extended periods driving, including overnight travel when needed.
  • For the Senior CDS role: demonstrated top-tier performance, leadership or developmental experience, industry conference representation, career progression, and success in sales or partnership with sales.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment.
