Description

  • Develop business plans to achieve sales goals and quotas.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals.
  • Identify and engage new prospects through outbound outreach, cold calling, and account-based prospecting.
  • Build and expand business opportunities across Panama and South America.
  • Understand customer needs and provide personalized support throughout the sales process.
  • Design and implement new sales strategies.
  • Share customer and prospect feedback with marketing to improve go-to-market strategy.
  • Represent Rosetta Stone at educational technology conferences and HR events in Latin America.
  • Partner with customer success to support post-sale customer experience and identify expansion opportunities.
  • Monitor market trends and adapt sales approach accordingly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 3+ years of sales experience in the edtech or software industry in the territory.
  • Proven ability to self-source leads through cold calling and cold outreach.
  • Experience with value selling or solution selling of software products, SaaS, language learning, or training platforms.
  • Experience with education and corporate customers from large organizations.
  • Prior exposure to the Education, HR, and/or L&D sector is a plus.
  • Full bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
  • Portuguese proficiency is a plus.
  • Strong active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Good communication and time management skills.
  • Computer and software proficiency, including Office 365 tools, CRM platforms such as Salesforce, and web conferencing tools.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% when required.
