Description

  • Proactively manage and expand an existing customer portfolio to drive business growth.
  • Identify solution gaps and uncover upsell and cross-sell opportunities within current accounts.
  • Acquire new customers and cultivate new business relationships to grow the book of business.
  • Conduct consultative selling across IT service pillars including procurement, cloud, security, networking, communication and collaboration, and IT lifecycle services.
  • Open, manage, and progress opportunities within iT1’s solutions offerings.
  • Partner with the Pre-Sales team and engage internal and external resources, including vendors, partners, and distributors.
  • Manage the end-to-end quoting process and submit deal registrations in a timely manner.
  • Use CRM daily to maintain account information, opportunities, leads, tasks, and customer payment records.
  • Leverage marketing tools to prospect and develop the portfolio of business.
  • Attend partner and vendor trainings and webinars, maintaining at least 80% attendance.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in IT sales or services.
  • Proven track record of success in the Value Added Reseller (VAR) industry.
  • Knowledge of IT solutions and how different areas of IT interrelate.
  • Strong ability to negotiate complex IT solutions.
  • Comfort communicating with senior-level clients.
  • Self-motivation and excellent time management skills.
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus.
  • Ability to work in-office on Tuesdays and Thursdays if within commuting distance of Tempe HQ, or remotely if located 40+ miles away.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of sitting, keyboarding, speaking, hearing, and driving as required by the role.
