Description

  • Own a portfolio of global enterprise retailers and strategically sell Caper cart expansions.
  • Lead the end-to-end acquisition sales strategy in partnership with Business Development Retail and Connected Stores leadership.
  • Design and implement selling strategies that drive revenue growth for Caper and Instacart.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and influencers at target retailers.
  • Create and deliver compelling presentations and proposals for Caper and Connected Stores solutions.
  • Negotiate and close complex contracts with retailers.
  • Collaborate with Connected Stores, Caper sales, and other internal teams to improve go-to-market strategy and sales processes.
  • Partner with Product, Finance, Marketing, Legal, Ops, and Partnerships to develop creative solutions and external communications.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience working on complex challenges in the grocery or retail space.
  • Experience selling or expanding high-tech products or services, preferably in retail.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales or OKR targets.
  • Strong communication, writing, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex ideas.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a rapidly evolving business environment.
  • Strong technical understanding of APIs, databases, and integration tools.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Comfort with data analysis and modeling (preferred).
  • Experience with products that combine hardware and software (preferred).
  • Exposure to supply chain, in-store advertising, retail labor management, and front-end operations (preferred).
