Description

  • Own end-to-end finance support for the growth partnerships portfolio and create ROI guardrails and performance frameworks.
  • Build and maintain driver-based forecasting and scenario models for Consumer Revenue and partner investments.
  • Lead annual and quarterly planning, monthly forecast and close routines, and KPI instrumentation.
  • Evaluate and structure new partnership opportunities through diligence, unit economics, incrementality, and payback analysis.
  • Prepare executive-ready materials and recommendations for senior leadership decisions.
  • Design and operationalize measurement with Data Science to improve attribution, experimentation, and incrementality analysis.
  • Establish an operating cadence and OKRs for the portfolio and drive cross-functional alignment and accountability.
  • Partner closely with Partnerships, Product, Data Science, and Accounting on planning and performance management.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in strategic finance, FP&A, corporate development, investment banking, or management consulting with a heavy focus on financial modeling and decision support.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including driver-based and scenario models such as 3-statement, cohort/LTV, and CAC/payback models.
  • Proficiency in SQL to independently query and analyze large datasets.
  • Experience owning or advising on a portfolio of growth or partnership investments of $50M+ annually with ROI and business impact tracking frameworks.
  • Experience leading planning and monthly forecasting/close processes and building KPI dashboards for consumer, marketplace, or technology businesses.
  • Demonstrated ability to present findings and recommendations to senior executives and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
  • MBA or CFA preferred.
  • 2+ years in growth, marketing, or partnerships finance within consumer technology, marketplace, or subscription businesses preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with cohort analytics, CAC/LTV modeling, payback/ROI frameworks, and revenue attribution preferred.
  • Familiarity with experimentation and incrementality methodologies and partnership with Data Science preferred.
  • Experience with financial planning systems such as Anaplan or Adaptive and BI tools such as Looker or Tableau preferred.
  • Advanced SQL or Python is a plus.
  • Experience operating in high-growth, fast-paced environments and influencing product or go-to-market roadmaps through business cases preferred.

  • Base salary range of $176,000 to $185,500 CAD for Canada-based candidates.
  • Remote work with Instacart’s Flex First policy.
  • Eligibility for a new hire equity grant.
  • Eligibility for annual refresh equity grants.
  • Ability to work from home, an office, or another preferred location within the Flex First model.
