Description

  • Own the full AI engagement lifecycle from discovery through sustained workflow adoption as the partner’s primary point of contact.
  • Drive scope, timelines, milestones, and escalations while keeping cross-functional workstreams aligned and moving.
  • Translate partner needs into clear execution plans and monitor delivery against objectives with rigor.
  • Oversee testing, feedback loops, adoption tracking, and change management to ensure deployments create lasting workflow change.
  • Act as the bridge between field execution and R&D, ensuring field learnings are fed back and roadmap commitments are delivered.
  • Identify recurring patterns across engagements and turn them into reusable delivery playbooks and frameworks.
  • Track engagement economics, including resource allocation, time spent, cost inputs, and cost-to-deliver across the portfolio.
  • Surface cost/benefit signals to support prioritization and go/no-go decisions on new engagements.
  • Work on-site with partners during key phases and manage multiple engagements simultaneously.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in technical project management, enterprise engagement management, or a related field delivering complex technical programs to external enterprise clients.
  • Experience managing programs across the full software development lifecycle, including requirements definition, scoping, build, test, and launch.
  • Ability to identify and manage risk, develop detailed work plans, and allocate resources across concurrent workstreams.
  • Technical fluency to discuss AI/ML implementations and integration dependencies with partner engineering teams.
  • Experience building engagement cost models and translating resource utilization and cost data into cost/benefit analysis.
  • Strong communication, organizational, time management, and meeting facilitation skills.
  • Proficiency with Jira, Asana, Smartsheet, Confluence, Google Workspace, PowerPoint, and Google Slides.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 50% within North America.
  • Preferred: experience managing AI, data platform, or systems integration deployments at enterprise scale.
  • Preferred: background in retail tech, e-commerce, operations, or CPG.
  • Preferred: experience working across engineering, product, and commercial teams.
  • Preferred: familiarity with agentic AI platforms, LLM APIs, or RAG-based systems.
  • Preferred: familiarity with Salesforce, Tableau, Looker, Power BI, Miro, or Lucidspark.
  • Preferred: PMP or equivalent program management credentials.
  • Preferred: prior work in a forward-deployed, embedded, or startup environment.

Benefits

  • Remote role with a Flex First work policy and flexibility to work from home, an office, or another location.
  • Highly market-competitive compensation.
  • Base salary range of $214,000-$226,000 for CA, NY, CT, and NJ; $205,000-$216,500 for WA; $196,000-$207,000 for select states; and $178,000-$188,000 for all other states.
  • Eligible for a new hire equity grant.
  • Eligible for annual refresh equity grants.
  • Access to Instacart benefits offerings.
