Description

  • Co-own the global business plan with the Shopify counterpart, including sales and marketing plans.
  • Collaborate on go-to-market planning and track progress against plan.
  • Lead joint roadmap development and scoping with the product and Shopify tech partnership teams.
  • Align with Shopify on sales enablement and account mapping initiatives.
  • Maintain and update the app listing and partner directory to showcase Insider One to brands.
  • Track required migrations and APIs and stay current on integration requirements.
  • Investigate opportunities to improve the integration or build new products for joint customers.
  • Manage partner program certification questionnaires by coordinating input from internal teams.
  • Work with regional partnership and sales teams to drive global growth initiatives with Shopify.
  • Plan and execute joint activations at key industry events and trade shows with field marketing teams.
  • Coordinate co-marketing activities with the Insider One marketing team and Shopify.
  • Generate leads and track pipeline and revenue attributable to the Shopify partnership.
  • Increase Insider One’s global brand awareness through the Shopify partnership.
  • Keep product, sales, marketing, solution consulting, and customer success teams informed on partnership progress.
  • Work with global offices to improve partnership practices, expand partner portfolios, and grow the partnership.

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree required.
  • 10+ years of experience in eCommerce and/or customer engagement platforms.
  • Deep familiarity with the joint value proposition of Shopify and customer engagement platform providers, especially for B2C merchant sales motions.
  • Familiarity with Shopify customer success processes aimed at increasing merchant GMV is a significant plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to simplify complex issues into actionable frameworks.
  • Deep understanding of solution selling with a joint offering from Insider One and Shopify.
  • Ability to set clear partner targets and develop plans to achieve them.
  • Strong ability to create high-quality customer-facing presentations and datasheets.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with the B2B SaaS business model.
  • Experience in the marketing technology space is preferred but not required.
