Description

  • Develop end-to-end product features, from backend AI agent logic to intuitive frontend interfaces.
  • Build and support production integrations with LLM APIs, including structured outputs, retries, streaming, and fallbacks.
  • Design and maintain backend services using Node.js and/or Python with RESTful APIs and microservice architectures.
  • Optimize PostgreSQL queries, troubleshoot relational schemas, and work with transaction isolation behavior.
  • Investigate production issues using logs, metrics, distributed tracing, and monitoring dashboards.
  • Write and maintain regression tests using Jest, Supertest, or PyTest, including tests for non-deterministic LLM behavior.
  • Use agentic coding tools in daily development work and verify AI-generated output when needed.
  • Work with observability and evaluation tools for LLM systems, including prompt/trace platforms and eval frameworks.
  • Collaborate in Agile workflows using Jira and Confluence and communicate root causes and fixes to stakeholders.
  • Own issues from triage through production verification and post-mortem analysis.

Requirements

  • 4–5+ years of experience in product development, with hands-on LLM integration and data engineering experience.
  • Deep knowledge of Node.js, Worker threads, and the NestJS ecosystem.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript for Vue 3 and NestJS, plus proven backend development experience with Python.
  • Practical understanding of prompt engineering, LangChain chains, embeddings, and semantic search.
  • Experience with Qdrant or similar vector databases, including indexing, similarity search, and vector tuning.
  • Experience with distributed systems, Kafka, and analytical databases such as ClickHouse.
  • Strong understanding of when to use PostgreSQL versus ClickHouse, including OLTP vs. OLAP patterns.
  • Experience with Redis, S3/MinIO, Docker/Kubernetes, and the AWS ecosystem.
  • Familiarity with LLM observability and evaluation tools such as Langfuse or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills, a product-driven mindset, and the ability to architect fault-tolerant, maintainable systems.
