Description

  • Own the product end-to-end as a solo full-stack engineer across frontend, backend, infrastructure, deployment, and releases.
  • Maintain platform health by handling incidents, defects, safe releases, and rollbacks.
  • Use AI and agentic coding tools to increase delivery speed while independently verifying correctness, security, and robustness.
  • Lead engineering work toward ISO 27001 and SOC 2 readiness by April 2027.
  • Make AI assistant and orchestration features reliable, measurable, and safe.
  • Assess what to preserve, isolate, improve, or replace based on customer risk and commercial value.
  • Harden, scale, and evolve product areas including delivery intelligence, SOW ingestion, project and resource management, commercial management, and orchestration.
  • Collaborate directly with technical and non-technical founders in an ambiguous, evolving environment.
  • Help shape the first supporting engineering hire as the company scales.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, ideally in an early-stage startup or high-ownership environment.
  • 5+ years of senior full-stack experience with React/TypeScript and Node/Postgres-style systems, or an equivalent modern JavaScript/TypeScript stack such as Next.js or Vue/Nuxt.
  • 4+ years owning cloud deployment, releases, and CI/CD without a dedicated DevOps or platform team.
  • 3+ years of senior-level Postgres, Supabase, or equivalent relational database experience, including row-level security and edge functions.
  • 1–2+ years using AI-assisted or agentic coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or Copilot in production development workflows.
  • A clear process for validating AI-generated code rather than trusting it blindly.
  • Ability to operate as a senior/staff-level individual contributor and own a product or platform end-to-end.
  • LLM application engineering experience in prompt design, evaluation, grounding, orchestration, or agent safety (preferred).
  • Security experience covering multi-tenant access control, secrets management, authentication, or OAuth (preferred).
  • Experience with ISO 27001/SOC 2 compliance, startup or founding engineering, remediation of rapid-prototype codebases, or Stripe/payments API integrations (preferred).
