Description

  • Build end-to-end product features, from backend AI agents to user-facing interfaces.
  • Develop backend services in Node.js and/or Python with RESTful APIs and microservice architectures.
  • Integrate LLM APIs with structured outputs, retries, rate limits, streaming, and fallback logic.
  • Work with PostgreSQL for query optimization, schema troubleshooting, and transaction handling.
  • Troubleshoot production issues using logs, metrics, distributed tracing, and monitoring dashboards.
  • Write and maintain automated tests for backend and AI-driven behavior.
  • Use AI-assisted coding tools as part of the daily development workflow.
  • Work with observability, evaluation, Docker, and CI/CD tooling.
  • Collaborate in an Agile process and communicate root causes, fixes, and post-mortems to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 4–5+ years of experience in product development, with hands-on LLM integration and data engineering.
  • Strong experience with Node.js, Worker threads, and the NestJS ecosystem.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript, including Vue 3 and NestJS, plus proven backend experience in Python.
  • Practical experience with prompt engineering, LangChain chains, embeddings, and semantic search.
  • Experience with Qdrant or similar vector databases, including indexing and similarity search.
  • Experience with Kafka and ClickHouse in distributed or analytical systems.
  • Understanding of PostgreSQL, including OLTP vs. OLAP tradeoffs and vector indexes.
  • Experience with Redis, S3/MinIO, Docker/Kubernetes, and the AWS ecosystem.
  • Familiarity with testing tools such as Jest, Supertest, or PyTest.
  • Experience with LLM observability and evaluation tools such as Langfuse or similar (preferred).
