Description

  • Develop, build, and expand referral relationships with tech partners, HCM partners, benefit brokers, CPAs, and financial advisors in the SMB space.
  • Create strategic referral networks and partnerships focused on lead generation and new partnership opportunities.
  • Proactively identify and resolve emerging partner issues by working cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Marketing, Legal, and Finance.
  • Collaborate with Partner Marketing to plan and execute partner sales initiatives such as educational events, email campaigns, and webinars.
  • Work with partners to define business goals and performance metrics, including pipeline depth and revenue generation.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies and demand-generation activities with key partners.
  • Manage operational partnership issues and provide solutions using independent judgment and discretion.
  • Travel into the field three days per week to support partner relationships.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience building, developing, and maintaining relationships with tech, HCM, benefit broker, CPA, or financial advisor partners in the SMB space.
  • Experience in territory sales and business development.
  • Proven track record of success in a quota-driven sales environment.
  • Ability to work independently as a highly motivated individual contributor and relationship builder.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Resourceful, resilient, and solutions-oriented approach to problem solving.
  • Extraordinary communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce to manage sales cycles is preferred.
  • Growth mindset with the ability to embrace feedback and hold yourself accountable.
  • Ability to be in the field 3 days per week.

  • Total on-target earnings of $130,000–$133,000, including a $66,500 base salary and a $66,500 variable target compensation.
