Description

  • Develop, build, and grow referral relationships with tech partners, HCM partners, benefit brokers, CPAs, and financial advisors in the SMB space.
  • Create strategic referral networks and partnerships focused on lead generation and new partnership opportunities.
  • Proactively identify and resolve partnership issues by collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Marketing, Legal, and Finance.
  • Work with Partner Marketing to plan and execute partner sales initiatives such as educational events, email campaigns, and webinars.
  • Establish business goals and performance metrics with partners, including pipeline depth and revenue generation.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies and demand-generation activities with partners.
  • Accelerate partner relationships to expand reach across small and medium-sized businesses nationwide.
  • Exercise discretion and judgment to create solutions for operational and partnership challenges.
  • Manage and maintain partner relationships in a quota-driven, fast-paced sales environment.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience building, developing, and maintaining relationships with tech and human capital management (HCM) partners, benefit brokers, CPAs, and financial advisors in the SMB space.
  • Experience in territory sales and business development.
  • Proven track record of success in a quota-driven sales environment.
  • Ability to work independently as a highly motivated individual contributor and relationship builder.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Resilient, resourceful, and able to recover quickly from setbacks.
  • Solutions-oriented and willing to handle operational partnership issues directly.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce to manage sales cycles is preferred.
  • Ability to be in the field 3 days per week.
