Description

  • Build and maintain influential relationships with strategic enterprise customers and act as a trusted advisor throughout the customer lifecycle.
  • Lead the post-sale relationship, including multithreaded customer engagements and renewal negotiations.
  • Develop and execute renewal and expansion strategies in collaboration with management and other stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities across the customer relationship.
  • Monitor account health, forecast risk, and maintain accurate customer records and notes in Salesforce.
  • Conduct regular Strategic Business Reviews to review accomplishments, growth opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Advocate internally for customer needs on product strategy, feature development, and pricing decisions.
  • Identify product and process gaps, escalate account risks, and suggest solutions to improve outcomes.
  • Work with Professional Services and other teams where applicable to support customer success.
  • Provide regular updates to leadership on forecast numbers and trends.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of account management and sales experience, preferably in the SaaS or technology industry.
  • Proven success managing an enterprise customer portfolio and a high volume of opportunities.
  • Demonstrated consistent quota attainment or portfolio management success.
  • Experience developing account plans with a mix of tactics.
  • Experience using sales tools such as SFDC, Gong, Sales Navigator, and 6Sense Gainsight.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS contracts, contract terms, and working with legal and procurement teams.
  • Proven success negotiating and building consensus with multiple stakeholders in complex B2B environments.
  • Belief in ValueSelling and the ability to communicate customer value and ROI.
  • Strong competencies in accountability, results orientation, influence, negotiation, perseverance, problem-solving, and resilience.
  • Must be legally eligible to work remotely in Canada or the U.S., or hybrid near Toronto or Vancouver offices.
  • Experience with customer journey and data-driven insights (preferred).

Benefits

  • Base salary of $81,500-$114,100 CAD in Canada or $79,200-$111,000 USD in the U.S.
  • Eligible for Hootsuite’s Sales Compensation Program with variable pay.
  • Flexible remote work or hybrid arrangement depending on location.
