Description

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the OTC derivatives market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients and provide tailored derivative solutions.
  • Lead client relationships and guide clients through the execution of complex derivative transactions.
  • Manage a portfolio of client relationships and identify opportunities for additional trading activity.
  • Provide market insights, strategic advice, and trading strategies to help clients meet their objectives.
  • Collaborate with trading, structuring, legal, and operations teams to deliver end-to-end client solutions.
  • Ensure seamless trade execution and efficient post-trade service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and trading activities.
  • Navigate regulatory requirements and internal compliance procedures.
  • Use programming skills to improve workflows and reduce manual effort and operational risk.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of OTC derivative products, particularly forwards and options trading.
  • Proven experience in a client-facing sales trading role.
  • Demonstrated track record of building and maintaining relationships with institutional clients such as asset managers, hedge funds, corporations, and banks.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to address client-specific needs.
  • Solid understanding of relevant market regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Financial Engineering, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Programming experience focused on operational efficiencies and auditability is preferred.
  • Existing network of institutional clients within relevant market segments is preferred.
  • Strong background in macro trading and broad market themes across crypto, equities, fixed income, energy, and fiat currencies is preferred.
