Description

  • Engage inbound leads and provide compliant, empathetic information about Hometap’s home equity investment product.
  • Serve as the homeowner’s primary point of contact throughout the investment process, including status updates, questions, and document requests.
  • Manage a high volume of daily calls while keeping applications moving through the pipeline.
  • Coordinate with processors, underwriters, and other internal teams to support efficient homeowner experiences.
  • Maintain and update the pipeline in Salesforce and Hometap’s proprietary Hub, and communicate next steps to homeowners and stakeholders.
  • Become an expert in Hometap’s HEI product and sales approach through training and ongoing coaching.
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape and collaborate with originations, marketing, and legal to resolve questions and improve the homeowner experience.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in a quota-carrying sales role with demonstrated closing experience.
  • Experience managing a full sales cycle end-to-end, from initial outreach through contract or agreement execution.
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Technical aptitude to learn internal tools; Salesforce experience is a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Strong ethical judgment and commitment to regulatory compliance.
  • Willingness to become NMLS licensed, with Hometap sponsoring the licensing process; active NMLS licensing is a plus.
  • Collaborative, team-oriented approach.
  • Must be based in the continental United States and able to work location-based hours across east and west coast teams.
  • Anticipated start date is mid-late August 2026.
