Description

  • Own the DACH territory and drive end-to-end conversion of the region into a predictable growth engine.
  • Build and manage pipeline with a focus on speed, conversion, and removing friction from the buying process.
  • Act as the founders’ market intelligence source by translating DACH trends and competitor moves into actionable feedback.
  • Develop deep institutional relationships with academic librarians and teaching faculty.
  • Lead complex sales cycles from initial outreach through signed contract across multiple stakeholders.
  • Create and refine outreach and sales processes to support repeatable new business growth.
  • Contribute strategic insights that inform localized go-to-market strategy and quarterly roadmap decisions.
  • Reduce founder involvement in routine sales cycles by increasing sales execution ownership.
  • Track and improve key performance outcomes including conversion rate, time-to-close, and DACH revenue growth.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in high-growth environments such as EdTech, SaaS, or STEM Publishing.
  • Native or full professional fluency in German.
  • Experience navigating complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from outreach to contract close.
  • Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
  • Experience using outreach tools to automate repetitive work and focus on high-impact selling.
  • High-agency, proactive approach with the ability to create opportunities independently.
  • Strategic mindset focused on ROI and long-term value.
  • Strong communication skills for both in-person presentations and remote procurement conversations.
  • Continuous learning mindset with willingness to iterate on pitch, process, and skills.
  • Minimum 15 Mbps primary internet connection and at least 10 Mbps backup internet connection capable of working during a power outage.
  • Desktop or laptop with at least an Intel Core i5 (8th generation or newer), Intel Core i3 (10th generation or newer), AMD Ryzen 5, or equivalent processor, plus 8 GB RAM.
  • Backup device meeting or exceeding Intel Core i3 performance and functional during power interruptions.
  • Functioning webcam, noise-canceling USB headset, quiet dedicated home office space, and smartphone for communication and verification.
